“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2

“...if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10

Pray This Prayer
To get a new life in Christ, it’s as simple as “ABC” . . .
“A” stands for Admit.
A person must admit to God that he/she is a sinner.  He/she must be sorry for his/her sin and turn away from sinning. Verses that support this step are Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Acts 3:19; and I John 1:9. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9 (NIV)
“B stands for Believe.
A person must believe that Jesus is God’s Son and that God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for sin. Verses about believing include John 3:16; John 14:6; and Romans 5:8. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV)
“C” stands for Confess.
A person must confess his/her faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:9-10; 13
After a person:
  • admits to God that he/she is a sinner
  • repents and turns from his/her sin
  • believes that Jesus is God’s Son sent to die to pay for the sins of the world
  • confesses Jesus as the leader of their life
that person is a Christian and knows Jesus as his/her Savior and Lord!  If you have not already done so, we want to invite you to pray the following prayer:
“Dear God, thank You for choosing to love me!  I know I am a sinner. I believe You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins. I believe He rose again and lives today. Today, I repent and turn away from my sin and ask you to come into my life as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for Your wonderful love and for changing my life forever. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
We want to congratulate and encourage you in this very important decision you have made to follow Jesus Christ. But this is just the first step.  Please allow us to give you additional information to assist you on your new spiritual journey by visiting with us or contacting us.
